A sapphire hand within the glass,
To let the liquid shadows pass.
The bottle stands, a lonely spire,
Amidst the blue and frozen fire.
To push away the gulp of light,
In chambers of the cobalt night.
A thumb, a wrist, a heavy line,
Refracting all the sour wine.
Stop the flow! The cork is dead,
While oceans swirl inside the head.
Die Hand aus Tinte, blau und schwer,
Greift in das weite Wolkenmeer.
Die Flasche hütet stummen Wein,
In diesem Glas aus Elfenbein.
Ein Schubs, ein Halt, ein bittrer Gruß,
Vom Kopf hinab zum Geistesfuß.
Die Kontur frißt das letzte Licht,
Das durch die blaue Seele bricht.
Wehre dich! Der Trank ist Eis,
In diesem kühlen Narrenkreis.
