The Smile That Refuses Geometry

Prelude
ink sneezes, laughter fractures—
every color is late for its appointment.
somewhere between cheek and question mark,
a mouth invents light.

I. Linework Theology
scribble as scripture:
each tremor a verse,
each crossing-out a prayer to imperfection.
yellow believes in optimism,
magenta in rebellion,
teal just wants to watch.

II. The Eyes Negotiate
they are twin universes arguing about orbit.
left says: I’ve seen enough.
right says: one more reflection, please.
they meet in the middle—
a small silence shaped like astonishment.

III. DADA Pulse
glitch–glance–glow!
no face, only frequencies pretending.
a sketch that hums instead of speaks,
a portrait that refuses to sit still.

Coda
smile becomes static.
static becomes grammar.
grammar becomes face again.
so i draw another.
