The Symmetric Pig (Das geteilte Schwein)

Pig 20241130

Excerpt:
Half pink, half thought — I balance between color and consciousness.

H2: Snout in Stereo

Left side whispers “Oink.”
Right side answers “Ja, aber philosophisch.”
Together we hum a symmetry song.
My face is a topographical map of confusion:
mountains of magenta, valleys of violet doubt.
Ich bin ein divided unity,
the aesthetic of almost understanding.

H3: Chromatic Diplomacy

Blue negotiates with red across my forehead.
They sign a treaty:
“No more monochrome Mondays.”
My nose ratifies it with two black seals —
nostrils as signatures.
Color is my foreign policy,
and contrast my constitution.

H2: Inner Dialogue of Pig and Pig

Left Pig: I am emotion.
Right Pig: I am line.
Left Pig: I melt!
Right Pig: I draft!
Together: Wir sind Schwein im Werden.
To be drawn is to exist in permanent rehearsal.

H3: Epilogue for Two Halves

Dear viewer,
don’t fix me.
The point is the tension.
If perfection had a snout,
it would snore.
I prefer paradox:
pink collides with thought —
and both survive.
