A thousand dots of fever in the eyes,
The armor leaks a rain of shattered glass,
Beneath the weight of heavy, static skies,
Where shadows of the metal soldiers pass.
The shield is heavy, dragged across the floor,
A circle broken by the weight of lead,
He stands before the silent, closing door,
With iron dreams inside a weary head.
Eintausend Punkte Fieber im Gesicht,
Die Rüstung leckt den Regen aus Kristall,
Im schweren Dunst, der jedes Licht zerbricht,
Marschiert der Schatten blecherner Erschall.
Der Schild ist schwer, er schleift im tiefen Dreieck,
Ein Kreis, zerdrückt von Last und Weltennot,
Er steht am Tor, im fahlen Seeleneck,
Und träumt von Eisen und von Abendrot.

Ein pointillistischer Triumph psychischer Desintegration, bei dem sich die Figur im farbenfrohen Chaos eines kollabierenden Imperiums auflöst. Die grüne Kontur bildet eine eindringliche Grenze zwischen dem Selbst und der Leere. | It looks like a technicolor radiator leak that accidentally formed a human shape out of sheer boredom. The lowered shield is less a symbol of defeat and more a testament to the artist’s inability to draw a straight line. Es sieht aus wie ein Technicolor-Heizungsleck, das aus reiner Langeweile versehentlich eine menschliche Form angenommen hat. Der gesenkte Schild ist weniger ein Symbol der Niederlage als vielmehr ein Zeugnis für die Unfähigkeit des Künstlers, eine gerade Linie zu ziehen. |
