The Remembering Pig (Das Schwein, das denkt in Kreisen)

Pig 20241226

Excerpt:
I was once a line, now I’m a memory drawing itself.

H2: The Face That Forgets Gently

Pink melts into doubt.
Graphite trembles like an old melody.
I am made of hesitation, layered in loops.
Every curve is a thought that came back to check on itself.
Ich bin Schwein und Spirale,
ein Rückblick mit Ohren.

H3: Snout as Compass

Two nostrils — north and never.
They point to places that don’t exist anymore.
Air passes through them,
and comes out wiser, if slightly amused.
I sniff for meaning,
but only find rhythm.

H2: Dialogue with the Mirror

Mirror: You look sad.
Pig: I’m reflective.
Mirror: That’s my job.
Pig: I freelance.

The mirror sighs.
We trade reflections until none of us remembers who began.

H3: Abschlussoink – Memory as Motion

Look close: the sketch still moves.
The lines don’t settle — they hum.
Every glance redraws me.
That’s not error, that’s eternity.
Oink is my form of remembering.
Each breath another stroke of becoming.
